Code of Conduct
Youth sports play an important role in promoting the emotional and physical development of children. We provide a fun and enriched environment, we have adopted the following code of conduct to ensure our players feel respected and encouraged.
- I (and my guest) will not engage in any kind of unsportsmanlike conduct with any official, coach, players, or parent such as booing and taunting, refusing to shake hands, or using profane language or gestures
- I will respect the officials and their authority during games
- I (and my guest) will be a positive role model for my child and encourage sportsmanship by showing respect and courtesy to all players
- I will demand that my child treat other players, coaches, officials, and spectators with respect regardless of race,creed, sex, or ability
- I will teach my child to play by the rules and resolve conflict without resorting to hostility or violence
- I will retain from coaching my child or other players during games and practices unless I am one of the official coaches of the team
- I will never ridicule or yell at my child or other participants for making a mistake or loosing a competition
- I will encourage my child to do their best and to always be a team player
- I have agreed to a participate in all scheduled practices and games unless prior notification is given to the teams coach
I agree that failure to comply with the code of conduct may result in the following:
- Suspension or ejection from current Alameda games
- Suspension from the league
- In the case of a violent act the authorities will be made aware of the incident
